Got Some Catching Up To Do!
Greetings! It's been a long time since my last blog post. Life has taken some unexpected detours once again, but after all, life would be boring if it was the same thing day after day.
Kind of like the movie "Groundhog Day".
(Not my image, by the way! Sorry, not sure who gets the credit for this one...)
Anywho, I'm finally back in the swing of things. Updated my Dropbox portfolio of Real Estate Image samples (see here!) , and have continued to network with local real estate agents. In fact, just had a presentation yesterday with the marvelous team at Equity 55 Highland (IL), broker Ed Kleber and associates. Wow! That group has a great energy. They were all friendly and welcoming, and made me feel right at home. I felt as if I was part of their team. I told them a bit about myself, showed them some samples of my work, and had a brief q&a session with them.
They were quite generous in allowing me 30 minutes for my presentation! I felt as though I could spend another 30 minutes talking with them, but of course, they had work to do, and so did I. Hoping good things come from yesterday's presentation, and I look forward to working with their agents in the near future! I also have been connecting with a Greenville realty team, the Ellsworths, at Wall Real Estate. While I haven't done any official shooting for them yet, Robert has been generous to allow me to shoot one of his listings at 509 Shannon Drive in Greenville (IL). I already did some exterior shots....
(Disclaimer: my images are not the ones used on the current MLS listing of this home.)
....and Robert gave me the okay to come by the office and get the key so I can do some interior images! Pretty excited about that, and plan to do that one today! Should have some good natural light coming in the windows for that one.
The home is owned and being sold by some friends of ours, Sean and Lisa Cox. I had already contacted Lisa about taking some pictures of the home before they listed it, but Life, of course, got in the way, and I had to put it off. Once we returned, it had been listed, so I just reached out to Robert to let him know I'd spoken with Lisa, and he was good with it.
So, that is the latest on my photographic adventures. Getting a good head start on my RE Photography business lately, and hoping for bigger things to come.
